Actimel MINI Snow Globe Activation at London King’s Cross Station

Back in January we worked with Fisher Productions and Danone parent company of Actimel. Actimel was planning an activation at London King’s Cross Station on 15th and 16th February 2017 as part of their #StayStrong campaign. Passers-by were encouraged to ‘Lift the Lid off Winter’ and enter a giant snow globe for their chance to win a MINI Cooper Convertible.

The project had limited turnaround on site at London King’s Cross Station due to the operational activities of the railway station, once the last train had departed the station our team began the installation of the giant automobile display globe.

The team only had approx 4 hours to complete the installation of the globe, install the Mini Cooper Convertible and prepare the activation ready for the mornings rush hour commute. The venue was challenging due to the access into the station following recent security enhancements, all equipment had to be wheeled into place via access routes from outside the station into the main station complex and the Mini Cooper had to be pushed into location as the vehicle was not allowed to be driven or contain any fuel to comply with the venues Health an Safety policys.

Installation completed and open to the public many passers-by had great time with the onsite promotional staff and plenty of selfie photos taken with guests sitting inside the Mini! Another successful bespoke activation completed by The Giant Snow Globe Ltd and a Giant Automobile Display Globe featuring pink and white confetti!

Here is a video clip recorded by SpaceandPeople of the activation:
